Quality management system

We are as passionate about quality as we are about performance and price. Fully ISO9001 certified, we build in quality through our process-oriented quality management system. Our New Product Development Process (NPDP) follows a proven methodology from initial idea, through feasibility, definition, development, evaluation, release to mass production.

Long-term customer satisfaction is based on our ability to produce ICs of outstanding quality. Our quality objectives cover the whole life span of our products, starting with listening to our customer's needs and going right through to after-sales support and service. In between, we ensure that our internal development processes are subject to rigorous scrutiny and review. Our proven development model ensures that each phase of the process contributes to the final quality of the product.

Process steps include:
• Customer/market requirements
• Technology feasibility
• Design
• Prototyping
• Customer testing
• Specification conformity
• Production standards
• Quality review

Founded on ethical & environmental policies
Our quality process is underpinned by our ethical and environmental policies. As a baseline, we have established an ethical code of conduct in line with the Ethical Trade Initiative (ETI) base code. We also require all our key sub-contractors and suppliers to conform to the requirements of ISO14001:2004, the Montreal Protocol on ozone layer depleting substances, and the RoHS (Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directive.

SiTel's focus is on:
• Minimizing energy consumption
• Minimizing material intensity in products and services
• Maximizing the recyclability of products
• Minimizing hazardous substances in products and the composing process
• Continued development for long-term sustainability
