Like the CEO of any company it is my job to manage a winning team - one that delivers the best results for both our customers and other stakeholders. My own passion for the business has given me the strong focus to continue to drive SiTel to be the first choice chip supplier for telephone terminals in the home and in the office. 

Alongside passion, from my perspective, there are three other key traits that ensure a successful company; creativity, competitiveness and an external focus. Creativity helps develop the next must-have products. Competitiveness ensures they are developed on time and for the right price. And an external focus is essential to simplify the task for the thousands of engineers outside our company that help develop our solutions and create the telephones that are sold to end customers. 

Twenty-five years of experience in the chip business helps me quickly see what is special and what is not. This helps me better recognize the very special engineers and support staff that combine these traits. I love to see passion from our employees, especially as this translates into a company that truly has a feel-good factor which inspires all of us to make it grow.

Working for more then 13 years at SiTel, I have seen the company grow from a small start-up, through being part of a major multinational company to being back on our own feet as a mature fast growing independent company. During this time, marketing and sales has had to deal with some major transitions. Each transition brings its own new challenges, but also spurs us on.

In fact the market has never given me a boring moment. Fourteen years ago we were at the start of DECT telephony on analog telephone lines. Today we talk of hi-fi audio quality telephony connecting cordlessly via broadband internet using VoIP technology. Our customers have also managed to use our cordless technology in a constantly expanding range of products, from game controllers to integrated access devices. It is these transitions which make me tick, and SiTel is the perfect organization to make use of these transitions to create and develop our future.

Having a background in both electronics as marketing, gives me the opportunity to use all my skills and experience at SiTel. Managing strategic business plans, analyzing new product ideas, creating new marketing communication products, staying in touch with our key customers, challenging colleagues to achieve more, aligning technical support within SiTel and our partners - there is always something that can be taken to the next level. That takes passion and SiTel is my passion. Full stop!
René Kohlmann - Chief Technical Officer

I head our project based organization, and enabling our project teams to realize today's and tomorrow's customer whishes with the best possible solutions is probably my most important responsibility. Constant contact with customers, field application engineers, design engineers and our marketing organization helps bridge the gap between the possible developments and our customer whishes.

It is my passion to realize the most creative and competitive solutions for our customers, so the core company values mean everything to me. Drawing on over 20 years of experience in system technology makes it possible for me to understand and translate our customer whishes. Then it is over to the development team to turn these ideas into reality.

SiTel is the optimum environment to develop best in class solutions. We have a great, enthusiastic and coherent group of engineers, marketing specialists and dedicated sales force combined with a passionate management team with only one goal - ‘How can we bring the best products to market in order to serve our customers in the fastest possible way'.
Peter van Wely - Chief Financial Officer
As a fabless designer of semiconductor ICs, SiTel is a relatively small company compared to our customers and our manufacturing partners. However we play a major role in the channel. The insight I've gained over the years in the business environment allows me to better understand the company position, and my role is to ensure SiTel is always regarded as a valued partner who gets a reasonable return on the investment in the design of our products. These last few years, as an independent company, have contributed substantially to our experience.

My passion for the business is strong. My whole career has been within the computer and semiconductor industries. Both are very volatile and demand that we continually look ahead, regularly adapting strategic plans to changes in the market. Consequently the financial structure requires constant monitoring and adjusting accordingly.

Like most of the human population, I like to perform in a team, especially a successful team. SiTel has the advantage of a very strong bond among its employees. The degree of openness and interaction allows the company to develop a portfolio of products that is unique in its features and its technical performance. We have a beautiful challenge ahead of us, to grow bigger and stronger, and I believe we will succeed.
Jacques Theunissen - Chief Operating Officer

As one of the founders, I have a great passion to make SiTel the first choice supplier for cordless voice and data. My role is to make sure that we have the best expertise to develop and ship our innovative products on time, in the right technology and at the lowest cost to our customers.

I have been part of this industry for 27 years and held a range of engineering and management positions - from design, test, product and purchasing. This background helps me achieve our goals and meet the company's core values, as I seen many of the industry's best practices firsthand. For example, as a fabless company our external focus is extremely important because you want to work with the best partners in the world and you have to be open for the requests of your customers. To be the first choice supplier we also have to be extremely competitive and creative, especially as we operate in a global market.

Working at SiTel really is a pleasure. The great team spirit, extremely talented colleges, high tech challenges, worldwide networks and relations, they all combine to make every day demanding yet very enjoyable.
